How to Join the RCI CRE Program

RCI CRE Program Calendar
The RCI CRE Program Calendar is an annual full listing of approved CRE activities. It has dates, places and topics for many programs. This Calendar is for the Professionals to plan their participation in advance.
RCI CRE Program Modes
Online Mode
The technology platform for the CRE program will be provided by RCI. All participants must pre-register by the start time of the webinar and log in using mobile OTP verification with their CRR-registered mobile number. The Institute will arrange resource persons and provide a set of topic-specific Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from these resource persons at a rate of 4 questions per hour, at least two days before the scheduled program. These questions will be programmed by RCI to appear randomly during the webinar. Participants must answer these questions online within a short timeframe to ensure continuous attendance and attention. An evaluation sheet will be displayed online immediately after the webinar.
Participants must score at least 70% overall to qualify for CRE points. Based on their answers, participants will be declared as pass or fail in the CRE, and the corresponding CRE points will be added to the RCI database, accessible through the participant’s registration dashboard on the RCI portal. RCI reserves the right to record all online CRE proceedings, collect random photographs during the CRE, and broadcast the recorded program on electronic and social media channels. Each online lecture will typically consist of 45 minutes of lecture followed by 15 minutes of interaction with participants. RCI will also organize many online CRE programs directly and may collaborate with National Institutes, CRCs, RCs, or other agencies to organize these programs.
Offline Mode
For local or district levels, the Institute will organize CRE programs, preferably on its premises or in Special Schools, Inclusive Schools, or College premises. High-quality resource persons will be arranged, and each participant will be evaluated by these resource persons. CRE points will be granted based on this evaluation. The questions will be multiple-choice, based on the sessions conducted, and not solely on the content presented via PPT. Participants must score at least 70% overall to qualify for CRE points. RCI may provide a mobile app for participants to answer the questions. RCI will also organize many offline CRE programs directly and may collaborate with National Institutes, CRCs, RCs, or other agencies to organize these programs.
Experiential Mode
Experiential Mode (Pilot basis, directly managed by RCI) In addition to classroom training, experiential learning will be encouraged through visits to research institutes, hospitals, manufacturing units, early intervention centers, Anganwadis, educational institutes, and participation in surveys or government schemes like ADIP, UDID, Skills, and DDRS. This field-level exposure to assistive technology, assistive issues, and Central and State Government schemes will also count towards earning CRE points.
